Maya is our Spa Manager. She helps to care for the space, the float tanks and the team at Vitality. Maya nurtures and propagates the plants keeping our green spaces abundant. With an attention to detail and tenderness for life, she is passionate about horticulture, writing, philosophy, and healing. Maya is also an Electrologist and an Empathy Coach at VCU.
Maya is a Virgo Sun, Scorpio Moon, and Capricorn Rising. She grew up in Louisiana and moved to Richmond after nearly 10 years in Los Angeles. She graduated from Stella Adler Studio in New York where she began her journey as an aspiring actress. After accepting that she was more passionate about watching film & tv than making film & tv, she retired from her career in the entertainment industry.
Maya is gifted at holding space for others as they arrive for their session and process afterwards. She is grateful to witness that experience with or without words.
